Both kinds.

Grounded in electrical engineering, I started out thinking in loads, breakers, and single-line diagrams. Somewhere along the way I picked up React, Node, and Postgres too - and found the two disciplines rhyme more than most people expect. Systems thinking is systems thinking, whether the current is AC or the payload is JSON.

Today I work as a Systems Analyst, sitting between technical delivery and quality assurance - currently supporting an LMS content initiative for a national banking institution, and leading analyst work on a health information system oversight engagement. On the side, I hold a Diploma in ISO Standards and keep one hand in solar and electrical contracting.

I like problems that sit at the seam between hardware and software: retrofitting a wiring system with smart relays, or wiring a data pipeline into a Google Sheet a non-technical team already trusts. Same instinct, different voltage.
